Email sending limits

Why LinkiFunnels has no list upload for cold email, how people you add by hand join a sequence at 50 a day, and what pauses sending.

3 minute read

LinkiFunnels sends follow-ups to people who already know you: someone who clicked your post and filled a form, booked a call, or whom you know personally. It is not a cold email tool, and the limits below keep it that way.

Every workspace sends through shared delivery infrastructure. When one workspace emails a bought or scraped list, the spam complaints and bounces hurt delivery for every other workspace too. So you can import contacts, but importing sends nothing, and people you add to a sequence by hand join it at a steady pace.

How someone gets into a sequence Limit
They become a lead through a tracked link in the campaign, or book a call from it None
Your backend adds them through the campaign leads API None beyond the API rate limit
You add them by hand from Add recipients or a contact’s page, including contacts you imported from a CSV Join at 50 people per workspace per day

You can add as many people as you like from Add recipients on a campaign or Add to campaign on a contact’s page. Up to 50 per workspace start their sequence each day. Everyone past that is queued and starts automatically on the following days, oldest first, 50 a day. The day resets at midnight UTC.

  • Queued people show as Queued on the campaign’s Recipients tab and on their contact page. Stopping their sequence takes them out of the queue.
  • Adding someone who is already in that sequence, or already queued for it, does nothing.
  • Leads your links capture and people your backend adds through the API never wait in the queue.

Separately, a workspace sends at most a few hundred emails per day. Sequence emails, new emails, and addresses you add to an Inbox reply share this limit, and it resets at midnight UTC. When you publish a sequence and enroll the campaign’s existing leads, their first emails are spread over several days for this reason. Nobody loses their place; sequence emails that did not fit today go out on a following day. A new email or reply that would go over the limit can’t be sent until it resets, and a scheduled one is held.

LinkiFunnels watches the last 24 hours of delivery for each workspace once it has delivered at least 100 emails. If more than 0.3 percent of recipients mark your email as spam, or more than 5 percent bounce, sending pauses automatically and we take a look. Everyone keeps their place in their sequence, and sending picks up where it stopped once the pause is lifted.
